1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
½ c. butter
1½-2 loaves bread
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1-2 tsp. sage
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
32 oz. chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cook celery and onion in the butter until softened. Toast half of the bread. Bread all into pieces in very large bowl. Pour celery, onion and butter over bread and add the eggs and seasonings. Add chicken broth until well blended and somewhat wet. It may not take quite all the 32 oz. Put in greased 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350º 30 minutes covered with foil. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes or until browned.

I had THE BEST recipe for stuffing and lost it. This is as close as I can remember! But it IS stuffing and can be adjusted to taste!
