Thick pork chops

¾ cut maple syrup

Directions:

Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high until hot add pork chops cook until browned on both sides.
Put in oven at 400 degrees in an ungreased 15 x 10 1 inch baking pan sprinkle with salt and pepper cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove pork chops from oven and drain and discard drippings drizzle syrup over the pork chops and return to the oven and bake uncovered for about 17 minutes or until done and chops are no longer pink in the middle.
You can also slice up sweet potatoes and cook along with the pork chops and drizzle them with maple syrup as well
