Pre made Pie Dough 1 ea
Butter melted 1/4 Lb
Brown sugar 1 1/2 c
Corn Syrup light brown 3/4 c
Vanilla extract 1 Tbsp
Lemon zest 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Eggs beaten 4 ea
Pecan halves 2 1/2 c
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
1. Place pie crust in a 9'' pie pan. Press into oiled and dusted pie pan. Remove excess dough from outside edge of pie. Press down edges around top edge of pie crust with the back of a dinner knife for a decorative edge. poke holes in bottom of crust allowing air to escape and freeze dough for 15 minutes.
2. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Heat a medium size saucepan to medium high heat add butter and melt, add brown sugar and stir with wire whip for 10 minutes 'till smooth.
4. Remove from heat and combine with vanilla, corn syrup, salt and lemon zest. Slowly incorporate corn syrup mixture with egg while mixing with a wire whip.
5. Place pecan halves in pie shell and pour brown sugar corn syrup mixture over evenly.
6. Bake until filling is medium firm about 50 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes.
7. Allow to cool for 1 hour. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
