Ingredients: Bottom Layer: 1 Cup Flour 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine(softened) 1 Cup Finely Chopped Pecans Middle Layer: 1 (8oz.) Package Cream Cheese(softened) 1 Cup Granulated Sugar 1(8oz.) Tub Whipped Topping, thawed and divided Top Layer: 1 (6.75oz.) Box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix 3 Cups Cold Milk 1 (6.75oz.) Box Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix 1 Small Milk Chocolate bar, Grated(optional)

Directions:Mix flour, Butter, and nuts together until crumb like texture. Press Mixture into greased 13 X 9 pan, Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 Minutes until lightly golden. Set aside to cool. Make the middle layer by beating cream cheese with sugar until smooth, fold in 1.2 the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled crust. Place in fridge while you make the top layer. make the top layer by beating the milk with the pudding mixes until smooth. spread over the middle layer. Then spread the remaining cool whip over the top. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Keep in fridge until time to serve. You can grate the chocolate bar over the dessert when you add the pecans if you like. |

Notes: I guess this dessert got its name while Robert Redford was popular. I have never been able to use just one tub of cool whip for this recipe so I always get 2 tubs, some people leave off the nuts and chocolate bar. I always add the nuts. You can also make this with lemon pudding in place of the chocolate pudding and serve it in the summer. I have also used cheesecake pudding in this recipe.
