2 squ, 1 oz chocolate squares
⅓ c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
½ t vanilla
¾ c all purpose four
½ t baking powder
½ t salt
½ c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Heat chocolate and shortening. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spread in 8 x 8 greased pan and bake @ 350 for 30 to 35 min. Cool before icing or cutting.
