2 c. sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
2 c. sugar
c. butter or margarine
c. flour
dash salt
2 tsp. baking powder
c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix peaches with 1 c. of the sugar. Melt butter in the dish you use to bake the cobbler (such as an 8-inch square baking dish). Blend the remaining c. of sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Put peaches on top.
2. Bake in 350F oven for 1 hour or until crust in golden brown. Batter will rise to the top during baking.
