1 lb stew beef
1 Tbsp oil
2 cups water
3 can beef broth
⅓ cup barley
1 tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
1 cup carrots
cup celery
cup onion
3 Tbsp fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Using Dutch oven pot:
Brown beef in oil, drain
Add water, broth, barley, salt, pepper
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat
Cover and let simmer for 1 hour
Add vegetables
Cover and let simmer 45 minutes
