Small Ham Butt or Ham Bone or Ham Chunks
2 lbs Fresh Green Beans
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Prepare green beans by removing the ends and the string, then cut them into uniform lengths. Put in a pot of water with the ham and boil for 15-30 minutes, depending on the desired toughness of the beans.
