Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and baking powder together twice. Set aside.

Cream butter well, add sugar gradually and cream well. Add eggs, beat well. Blend in sifted flour & baking powder mixture. Add vanilla.

Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge one hour or until dry enough to handle without it being sticky. Roll out 1/4" thick, bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for about 8 minutes or until just barely done.
