1 ½ cup flour (sifted)
½ cup sugar
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup shortening (cut in until course crumb)
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup light corn syrup
1 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients.
Shape into 2 inch roll and chill. Slice ¼ to ⅛ inch thick, place ½ of the slices on ungreased cookie sheets. Put about ½ tsp peanut butter on slices. Cover with remaining slices. Seal edges with fork and bake at 350º for 12 minutes. Cool slightly and removed.
Makes 2 dozen
