1 large turkey cooking bag
1-1½ lb london broil, cut up into small cubes
6 medium red potatoes
1 bag of fresh baby carrots
1 large onion, chopped into pieces
or 6-8 boiling onions
2 envelopes of dry onion soup mix
Mrs. Dash seasonings (or Cajun seasoning)
4-5 C water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven: 350º
2. Put all ingredients in the bag; close bag; punch 2-3 holes on top.
3. Put bag on a pan to prevent oven from boilovers
4. Bake 1-1½ hours
5. Optional: add 2 T flour or cornstarch to bag when finished baking. This will thicken the stew.

MomMom's taste: season the stew with sweet chow chow
PopPop's taste: season with Cajun seasoning or hot chow chow.
Aunt Celeste has cooked this recipe in the crock pot...comes out wonderfully.
