9 oz chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tbl. heavy whipping cream
1 1/4 oz. sweet butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Meanwhile bring the milk to a boil.
Add the cream and bring back to a boil.
Remove from the heat, stir in the sugar, melted chocolate and butter.
Place the pot on medium heat, constantly stirring.
Bring to a boil for a few seconds then pour into a bowl to cool.

This is a thick and rich sauce that is great over ice cream and brownies.
It is best served a little warm.
When I worked at Persimmon country club I would make a Mile High Pie and drizzle this sauce on top.
It was not only a beautiful presentation but it tasted great too!
