1-1 lbs. stew meat
2 tbsp. cooking oil
c. flour
salt and pepper to taste
6-7 c. water
vegetables of choice, diced
1 bay leaf
cornstarch
Kitchen Bouquet Browning & Seasoning Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Coat stew meat in flour. Brown in oil. Add to kettle with water and bay leaf. Cook until meat is tender. Add carrots, potatoes, peas, or whatever vegetables desired. Cook until done. Make thickening out of cornstarch and water, add to stew along with a cap full of Kitchen Bouquet Browning & Seasoning Sauce, until thick.
