1 whole chicken
1 medium onion, chopped
4 medium carrots, sliced
1 stalk celery
1 bay leaf
tsp. salt
tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil whole chicken with salt/pepper, bay leaf, onions, carrots and celery until chicken is done. Simmer for at least hour longer. Remove chicken and vegetables and strain liquid. Use broth for soups or in other cooking.
