Base:
2 cups flour
1 cup butter
2 Tablespoon sugar

Filling:
1 can (19 oz) crushed pineapple and juice
1/4 teaspoon almond flavouring
3/4 cup chopped cherries
1/4 cup juice from cherries
3/4 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons corn starch

Topping:
3 egg whites
3 teaspoons sugar
coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Combine base ingredients. Put into bottom of 9x13 pan and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Combine filling ingredients and cook until thick. Pour over the top of the base.

Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff and spread on top of filling mixture.

Sprinkle coconut on top.

Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
