1/2 stick butter, melted
1 Lb mushrooms (button or cremini)
Salt
3 Tb flour
1 Qt Good beef stock.
Thyme
Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
1) Slice and simmer the mushrooms in butter with a little salt until slightly browned and the water has evaporated.

2) Add 3 Tb flour and cook into the mushrooms til browned slightly

3) Add the beef stock and stir as the mixture thickens.

4) Add pepper, a little thyme (to your taste ) and some worcestershire sauce (also to your taste)

5) Simmer for 30 minutes.

I made this one up when we needed a gravy for meatloaf. It's not bad!!
