1 c. Yellow Cornmeal
1 c. Flour
1/4 c. Sugar
4 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Milk
1/4 c. Shortening
1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 F.

Grease 9"x9" or 13"x9" pan.
Blend all ingredients.
Beat vigorously for 1 minute.
Pour into pan.
Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
