Date Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients:  
2 c. Dates - cut fine
Add 1 1/2 c. boiling water
Let stand 20 minutes

Cream Together
1 tbsp. Melted Butter
1 c. Sugar
1 Egg - beaten

Mix In
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 1/2 c. Flour

Add date mixture and 1 c. chopped nuts.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for 50 - 60 minutes or more.
