4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 c milk

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients
Cut in shortening
Add milk and only mix just until moistened to have a tender biscuit.

When Grandma had a cow she replaced the milk and shortening for cream. She was known for her light biscuits
