2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 beaten egg yolks
4 cups sliced apples
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 slightly beaten egg white

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3 to 4 tablespoons milk or half-and-half
1 tsp vanilla

Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbs are size of peas. Stir in egg yolks; divide mixture in half. Press one half in a 15 X 10 X 1 inch baking pan. Combine apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Arrange over bottom crust. Sprinkle on remaining dough. Brush on egg whites. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Drizzle with glaze. Cut in bars.

Glaze:
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients until smooth, adding enough milk for desired glaze consistency.
