1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 qts. tomato juice
1-2 6 oz. cans tomato paste (optional for thicker soup)
2 c. water
Chili powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1 can kidney beans
1 can chili beans or pork and beans

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion, chili powder and salt and pepper. When brown, add tomato juice, tomato paste, and rinsing jars or cans add water to equal about 2 cups. Cook for about 2 hours. After one hour, add kidney beans and chili beans. Let simmer.
