Pie:

1 Pkg. Chocolate Wafer Cookies
1 Stick of Butter
* For an 8" per about 1 1/2 cups of cookie crumbs, for 9" about 2 1/4 cups of crumb
1 quart of Coffee Ice Cream
* For an 8" pie, 1 quart of ice cream, for a 9" pie, 1 1/2 quarts ice cream

Hot Fudge Sauce:
12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
12 oz Milk Chocolate Chips
1 1/3 Light Karo Syrup
1 1/3 Evaporated Milk

1 Pint Whip Cream
Add chopped nuts if desired

Mud Pie:

Put Chocolate Wafer Cookies in a Blender along with 1 stick of melted butter. Blend until crumbs are a fine consistency. Press into a greased pie plate and Bake at 350 º for 8 minutes. Allow to cool before adding Ice Cream. When cool, add Ice Cream on top of cookie crumbs and place in freezer until hard.

Whip Cream:

Pour the cream into a bowl. Add 2 T of Sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla to cream and whip until peaks are stiff.

Hot Fudge Sauce:

Melt chocolate chips in a saucepan over a medium to medium-high stove top. Add Syrup. Stir until just melted. Remove from stove and stir in Evaporated Milk until fully incorporated.
