1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. Graham wafer crumbs
Graham wafers for lining pan
Butter icing for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Put first four ingredients in a pot and bring to a bubble. Add the next 4 ingredients an stir until smooth. Line 8" pan with whole Graham wafers. Spread mixture on them, and top with another layer of Graham wafers. When cool, cover with butter icing.

Recipe came from Auntie Ruth. When unbaked squares were a very new idea. Fun to make any time, but especially in the summer because you don't have to turn the oven on. And who knows where on the earth the silly name came from...
