2 Cups Brown Sugar (packed)
2/3 Cup Unsalted Butter(cubes)
2 Large Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped Hazelnuts
1/2 cup Chocolate Chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13 X 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a saucepan combine brown sugar and butter, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until butter and sugar
melt together and mixture is smooth sugar will not totally dissolve. Remove from heat , transfer to a mixing bowl and stir to cool. Stir in eggs, one at a time then add vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until smooth.Transfer batter to pan, smooth the top. Scatter chopped hazelnuts and chocolate over the op. Bake 24-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted tnto center comes out clean. Cut into squares while still warm, Store leftovers in airtight container.

I like this recipe but I always use pecans or walnuts in the recipe, I have used hazelnuts but not everyone in my family likes them.
