1 (18 oz) pkg Chocolate Cake Mix. (Not German Chocolate)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup of chopped nuts (Optional)
1 can Bordens Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 (6oz) pkg of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of salt

Preheat the oven to 350-degrees F.

In a large bowl:
Combine the cake mix, oil and egg. Beat on medium speed until crumbly. Stir in nuts (if desired).

Reserving 1 1/2 cups of crumb mixture, press remainder on bottom of a greased 9x13in cake pan.

In a small sauce pan, combine remaining ingredients over medium heat and stir in the chips just until melted.

Pour evenly over the prepared crumble crust and then sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture evenly over the top.

Bake 25-30 mins. Cool and then cut into bars.
