1 cup softened margarine or butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking power
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 pkg chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees In a large mixing bowl, cram together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla In another bowl mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir in the chocolate chips. With your fingers, place golf size ball dough portions 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet ( not greased.) Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or just until edges are lightly brown.

Do not bake over 10 minutes.
