1/2 cup crisco
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
3 cups quick oatmeal (not Old Fashion)
1 - 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups plain flour
2 BEATEN eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and crisco. Add sugars and beat until creamy. Beat the eggs. Then add to butter and sugar mixture. Sift together the dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and oatmeal. Drop by spoonfuls onto UNGREASED cookie sheets. Bake at 325º for approximately 12 minutes or as desired.
