1 ¼ cups flour
3 oz. cream cheese
½ cup soft butter

Filling:
¾ cup ground walnuts
¼ cup sugar
2 tbsp. milk
½ tsp almond extract
1 egg- beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, butter and cream cheese until they are coarse crumbs. Shape into a ball, wrap in wax paper and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

In a small bowl combine nuts, sugar, milk and almond extract and set aside.

Heat oven to 375º.

On a floured surface roll the dough into a 14 x 8 rectangle. Cut into 28 2 inch squares. Place ½ teaspoon in the center of each square. Pinch 2 opposite corners together over the filling. Place on ungreased sheets and brush lightly with the beaten egg.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
