1 pkg of devil’s food cake mix (prepare for high altitude if suggested on package, adding flour if needed)
1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling (not French Apple)
3 eggs
1 lrg tub of Cool Whip (12 oz is plenty, use 16 oz if you like)
Ground cinnamon

Directions:
Mix dry cake mix, pie filling and eggs together. Do not add any water or other liquid. The eggs and pie
filling provide enough moisture. Pour batter into a 9x13 pan, and bake as directed on cake mix package.
Let cake cool in the pan. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Refrigerate.
