1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco
1 can pineapple
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonful onto baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes.

Variations: Add 1/2 c. dates, 1/2 c. nuts or 1 c. applesauce in place of pineapple. In place of vanilla, use 1 tsp. cinnamon or 1/2 tsp. cloves or 1/2 tsp. nutmeg.
