6 cups Quick Quaker Oats, uncooked
½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
¾ cup wheat germ
1 ½ tsp vanilla
½ cup flaked coconut (can leave out if you choose)
⅓ cup sesame seeds
1 cup finely chopped nuts
½ cup vegetable oil
⅓ cup honey

Directions:

Heat oats in an ungreased 13 X 9 inch pan at 350º for 10 minutes.
Combine oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, sesame seeds and nuts.
Add oil, honey and vanilla; mix until dry ingredients are well coated.
Divide the mixture into two parts, putting each into a separate ungreased 13 X 9 inch pan.

Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.
STIR OFTEN to brown evenly.

If you like raisins you can sprinkle some over the hot mix just after you take it out of the oven.

Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
