1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
Buttermilk
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Chopped nuts
Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Cream butter and sugars.
place eggs in a 1 cup measure and fill to the top with buttermilk
Mix flour with baking soda
Add buttermilk mixture alternately with the flour mixture to the creamed mixture
Add vanilla

Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking sheet.
Press tops lightly with a fork.
Sprinkle tops with coconut or nuts as desired

Bake 8 minutes
