Roast of choice (2-3 lbs)
1 c. water
2-3 onions, sliced
salt and pepper
5-6 potatoes (optional)
10-12 carrots (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Put roast in a roaster pan, add a cup of water to bottom. Place sliced onions on top, then salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for 3+ hours. After cooking 2 hours, you may add chunked potatoes and carrots.
*the secret is the longer you cook the roast, the more tender it will be*
