3 egg yolks, beaten
3/4 c. cold water
1 1/4 c. sugar
vanilla
salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the egg yolks and water together until light. Gradually add sugar and beat thoroughly. Add vanilla and salt and beat again. Sift flour and baking powder into sugar mixture; stir with spoon.

In a bowl, beat egg whites until stiffened; stir into the mixture. Bake in a greased angel food cake pan at 350º for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and invert cake pan onto a cooling rack until the cake is released.
