8 center cut pork chops (with no fat)
Butter or shortening
Mushrooms
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 C. California white table wine
1 C. Chicken broth
1 tsp. bottled garlic spread
1/2 pint sour cream
Chopped parsley


Directions:
Directions:
Brown chops in very small amount of butter

Add mushrooms to pa and brown lightly,

Add soup mix, wine, broth, garlic spread and stir until well blended

Return chops to pan. Cover and simmer slowly about 45 minutes or until chops are tender. Add sour cream; simmer on very low heat (do not boil).

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with wild rice. Very good with julienne beans with bacon and onions.
