3 T butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
2 jars maraschino cherries
1 package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 stick paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter and add vanilla, salt, powdered sugar and evaporated milk. Chill mixture overnight. Drain the cherries and place on paper towels to dry. Take pieces of the chilled fondue and roll into a ball in your hand, adding a cherry to the center of the ball. Place a toothpick in each cherry ball and place on waxed paper in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
Melt the chocolate chips and paraffin. Dip the cherry balls into the melted chocolate and set on new waxed paper.
