1 pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
½ gallon chocolate chip ice cream
1 8 oz. cool whip
1 stick of butter or margarine

Directions:
Put ice cream out to soften. Melt butter and combine with crushed Oreo's. Press into bottom of 13X9 pan, reserving ½ to ¾ c. of crumbs for topping. Mix softened ice cream with cool whip and spread on top of Oreo's. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and freeze.
