Step 1.
Add juice of 3 oranges, 2 tbsp. grated orange rind, to 1 3/4 cup water
Step 2.
Add 6 tbsp. butter, 3 cups flour, 1 cup. whole wheat flour
Step 3.
Add 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. soda, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 tsp. allspice and 1/2 tsp. ginger.
Step 4.
Add 2 eggs, beaten
Step 5.
Mix 3 cup cranberries.1/2 cup white flour, 2 cups walnuts, chopped. Mix good to coat all with flour.
Mix into batter.
Coat loaf pans with butter and sugar.
Bake 1 hour @ 350º
