Cookie:
1 C. softened butter
1/2 C. heavy/whipping cream
2 C. flour

Filling:
1/4 C. softened butter
3/4 C. confectioners sugar (sifted -DO NOT skip this step)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Mix dough. Separate into quarters, wrap in wax paper, place in storage bag. Refrigerate.
Prepare cookie rolling sheet. Roll out dough making as thick as you desire. Use shot glass
to cut out. Dredge in granulated sugar about 3 times. Mark with a fork. Place on cookie sheet
lined with parchment paper.
Cool. Becareful when iciing cookies and make sandwhich cookies.

** To make icing creamier add more butter. I never had to do this it is fine the way recipes states.
