1 lb good round steak, cut in bite sized pieces
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic (optional)
2 beef boullion cubes (or 3 t ground bullion)
1 little can green chilis
1 T pepper
1/2 T chili powder
1 T cumin
oil & flour
2 C peeled, cubed potatoes
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Flour the meat, and cook in about 2 or 3 T oil in a pot. Cook well. Add onions & garlic. Cover all this with water plus about 1". Add bouillon, green chilis, and spices. Cover and cook about 45 minutes on low. Add potatoes. Cook on low, uncovered till potatoes are done. Add water as needed.

Serve with rice, and tortilla chips. Reduce spices, if too spicy.
I usually double this to feed more than 4 people.
