Cake:

Grated rind of 1 orange
1 cup coarsely chopped raisins
½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup sour milk (Milk + 1 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice)

Frosting:
Powdered sugar frosting with grated orange peel

Glaze:
⅓ cup orange juice
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease an 8 inch cake pan

Combine orange rind, raisins, and walnuts. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and the orange-raisin-nut mixture.

Sift flour with baking soda and salt.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour milk to the egg mixture.

Pour into cake pan and bake 30 - 35 minutes

Ice with powdered sugar frosting or glaze with orange glaze
