8 hot dog buns
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon parsley
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 stick butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º.

Soften butter and add herbs. Split buns, cut lengthwise and butter on all cut sides. Bake for 30 minutes, turning once.

I always double this recipe. The bread sticks keep well in a tin and are great with spaghetti or soup.
