4 eggs
1 C. butter
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
1/2 C. cocoa
dash of salt

Frosting:
3 Tbsp. butter
1/3 C. milk
3 1/2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 C. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the flour and cocoa and salt. Bake in waffle iron. Top with Frosting. Best if served warm out of the waffle iron.

Frosting:
Heat butter and milk. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Add milk if mixture is too thick.

We made these cookies often times on Sunday afternoons. They are best if eaten while still warm. I got the recipe from Robbie Reid.
