3 1/2 C. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 C. shortening
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl with a spoon. In a separate bowl, mix the shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Alternately, add the flour mixture and the milk into the shortening mixture. stir with a spoon until completely mixed. the dough will be very sticky. roll out dough 1/4" thick on a floured surface. Cut with a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter. Bake at 375º until light golden.
