Italian Vegetable Soup Recipe

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
2 cloves garlic or equivalent from a jar
1 (16 oz. ) tomato sauce
1 large can tomatoes
2 cups water (add more if needed)
5 tsp. beef boullion granules
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. basil
2 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 cup macaroni

Brown beef and onion. Add first 10 ingredients and bring to a boil for about 30 minutes. Add cabbage and macaroni. Cook until tender. Serve with parmesan cheese.
