Maple Walnut Granola Recipe

7c large flake oatmeal
2c heaped walnuts
1 cup of anything else you want, raisins, sunflower seeds etc.
1T cinnamon
1tsp freshly ground nutmeg not packed down
¼ tsp salt
½c maple syrup
1T vanilla
3 T coconut oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Mix all the dry ingredients well. Melt the coconut oil and add to vanilla and maple syrup. Pour over the oatmeal and mix well. Pour over parchment on a lg cookie sheet and bake about 15 -20 minutes. Set the timer and stir every 5 minutes

You can swap out the walnuts (but then it wouldn't be Maple Walnut Granola! You can also omit the raisins if you have a picky kid and the maple syrup for agave, or heaven forbid, corn syrup! If you have another delicate eater!
