Mom and Dad used to take us to the NCO Club with them, and Danny and I would always get a Shirley Temple. (Okay, Danny's drink was a "Roy Rogers.") After we were grown up, we made that the Christmas drink for Brittany, Kimberly, David, and Travis . . . and whichever of us adults wanted one.
