1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped parsley
1 cup chopped onion
2 quarts white bread crumbs
1 quart chopped celery
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon savory seasoning
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 to 2 teaspoons salt
Black pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans chicken broth (or more as needed to make a soupy consistency)

Directions:

1. Cook the parsley and onion for a few minutes in the melted butter
2. Add the bread crumbs, celery and seasonings.
3. Stir in soup and chicken broth to make a soupy consistency
4. Put into buttered casserole dish and bake at 350º until done (approximately 1 hour)
