Ingredients:	Ingredients: ln heavy 3-quart pan, combine: 1 C butter 1 C sugar ¼ C water ½ tsp. salt

Directions:	Directions: Place over medium high heat and stir constantly. Cook to hard crack stage. (In the meantime, warm a 9 x 13 cake pan.) Pour immediately into cake pan. Spread over the bottom. Mixture hardens in a few seconds. Set aside to cool. Topping: Melt: 3 squares of semi-sweet Chocolate OR 3 ounces of semi sweet chocolate chips. Spread over cooled toffee. Sprinkle with I C of finely ground pecan meal. Press lightly into chocolate. When chocolate is firm, break into pieces. Store "flat" in covered container. Place waxed paper between layers.
