Mom's Round Steak Recipe

3 - 4 lbs. round steak
1/2 to 1 cup flour
2 - 3 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
4 - 5 stalks celery
1 medium onion

Directions:
Directions:
Heat electric skillet to 350º and add oil. Cut your round steak into 1 - 2 inch squares and roll generously in your flour until both sides are completely covered. Add round steak to hot skillet and brown both sides of meat until good and golden brown. Add celery stalks and onion for flavor. Then add 4 - 6 cups of water and bring to complete boil. Cover your meat with lid and reduce your heat to let simmer and stew. (about 2 hours - give or take) Until meat is good and tender. If more gravy is desired, make up water and thickening. After removing meat add to make more gravy.

Note: Also makes excellent sandwiches with gravy poured over. Serves 6 to 8.
